Ever since the Czech Republic became an independent country (in 1993), it has been a fairly popular vacation destination among Western tourists. The reasons for vacationing to the Czech Republic are very diverse. Besides the beautiful nature, the wonderful monuments from bygone eras and the warm population, the cost is another reason to go on vacation to the Czech Republic.
It seems that the prices asked for many things in the Czech Republic are many times more realistic than in other European vacation destinations. A reasonable balance seems to have been found between costs, revenues and a normal margin.
